About Punjab Coal Association
Established to organize, advocate for, and develop Punjab's coal mining, commercial distribution, and industrial energy supply chain in full conformity with federal trade body statutes.
“Punjab Coal Association represents and connects professionals, traders, suppliers, and stakeholders across Punjab’s coal industry, promoting collaboration, industry development, responsible business practices, and sustainable growth.”
Uniting Mining Basins with Punjab's Industrial Engine
The Punjab Coal Association was established in 2020 by prominent coal mine leaseholders, wholesale traders, and industrial energy consumers to establish a transparent, credible, and modern apex organization for the province's vital solid-fuel industry.
From the indigenous mine shafts of the Salt Range (Chakwal, Dandot, Choa Saidan Shah) and Makarwal (Mianwali) to the bustling distribution depots of Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Multan, the association coordinates supply stability, computerized weighbridge accuracy, and fair trade practices.
Operating in strict alignment with the Trade Organizations Act, 2013, SRO 1057(I)/2023, and SECP regulatory frameworks, PCA ensures clean statutory compliance, two-year democratic election terms, and transparent financial stewardship.
